Role Overview

As a Junior UI/UX Designer at Astrona., you will assist in designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for Web3 applications according to the direction of the Senior Designer.

This role will help you gain further proficiency in Figma and other design tools, mastering the design lifecycle.

As a junior, you are still expected to be incredibly creative and showcase this creativity by proposing innovative and often unconventional methods, ideas, or designs. Your work will enhance our projects, and if you have experience with 3D design, you will have the opportunity to explore and contribute with this experience.

Your Role

As our Junior UI/UX Designer, you will support the design process and contribute to creating user interfaces for our cutting-edge applications.

Working closely with primarily the senior designer, but also product managers & developers—you will help ensure that every touchpoint is a delightful experience for our users.

Your day-to-day activity will consist of producing high-quality work that is consistent with Web3 field demands, and you will often be assigned to multiple projects at the same time.

The role of a Junior UI/UX Designer requires staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and emerging Web3 technologies.

You have a portfolio that showcases your ability to create compelling Web3 user interfaces and experiences. This portfolio grew out of your passion for the unique challenges and opportunities that the crypto industry brings.

Required Qualifications

• A foundational interest in UI/UX design, with a desire to dive deeper into the Web3 ecosystem.

• A portfolio showcasing your design potential and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or experience in 3D design.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies in AI, cloud computing, and Web3.

What You'll Do

You will sketch, wireframe, and prototype—bringing your creative ideas to life that simplify the often-complicated world of cryptocurrency.

The design work that you create will be most of all user-friendly and captivating, ensuring a positive experience for the user, who might be a layman in the Web3 sphere.

Your work will have four key aspects, design creation, communication & collaboration, brainstorming, and finally—keeping up to date with both the Web3 industry, as well as newest advancements in design.

Design creation will be directed by your assigned Senior Designer with whom you’ll also brainstorm—providing your fresh perspective and innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes.

You often work on multiple projects at the same time, and on rare occurrences—you manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
